Check-out automats

Aapo check-out automat

Aapo is a Finnish next generation loan unit for libraries that works flawlessly even in the busiest periods. Aapo handles loans and alarm deactivations reliably. Customer identification can be achieved using a bar code card (a library card, a driver's license or the national social insurance card, for example), a chip card or, in the future, fingerprint identification.

A remote control function where the books and other materials do not need to be transported one by one on a conveyor can be achieved by using RFID identification (adhesive radio frequency labels). The volumes to be loaned can be identified simultaneously as a stack and do not need to be handled individually.

We have released a new version of Aapo with check-in function included. If you require a sorter in the check-in automat, then our Eero or Tuomas check-in automats are your choice!
